WikiFans on Project Fanboy
Welcome to Project Fanboy's ongoing project, WikiFans. Project Fanboy would like to build a wiki housing any and all related content relevant to the comic book industry. From publisher pages, to character bios and everything in between - if it has to do with comic books we want you to add it! WikiFans currently has 176 articles, and 16 editors, help us grow by adding articles on comic book related topics you're interested in!

Getting Started
- Getting started can be a little confusing at first. The more you are familiar with Wikipedia the easier it will be for you to quickly adapt to WikiFans.
- Users unfamiliar with wiki's are encouraged to visit How to create a WikiFans article to learn some of the coding tags used on Wikifans to keep our layout appealing and professional in nature.
- To find an article on something in the comic book world, simply type it in the search box and go! If the article does not yet exist, feel free to create it!
Editing articles
Many articles need to be edited, updated, or even created. These include articles about notable creators, comic books, comic strips, characters, and comic book-specific topics. Because WikiFans's editorial staff is made up of volunteers, everything should be referenced as well as possible. You can find relevant information at sites such as Project Fanboy, Newsarama and Comic Book Resources and magazines like The Comics Journal, Back Issue Magazine, and Wizard: The Comics Magazine. You can also use information from older solicitation information, such as you might find in the Previews catalog; be sure only to write about comics that have hit the shelves and not to speculate.
Some helpful direct links on Project Fanboy to help get you started are listed below:
- WikiFans Discussion Forums - Here you can interact with forum members who can help point you in the right direction if you need some help.
- Comic Book Glossary - Help us convert our comic book glossary of character bios and relevant comic book information to the new WikiFans format! Most of the work is just copy and paste and doesn't take much time.
User accounts
Anyone can edit WikiFans, regardless of whether they have a user account; however, if you find yourself contributing regularly, it's a good idea to create a user account. Edits by registered users tend to be taken a little more seriously. You don't have to use your real name if you don't want to, and it helps if others want to contact you to discuss the work you're doing or even to thank you for your contributions.

Blink was born into the nightmare reality that is the Age of Apocalypse. Obviously a mutant from the day of her birth, Blink was taken by Apocalypse's forces and deposited in a section of Sinister's Breeding Pens. She would eventually be saved by the X-Man named Sabertooth during an X-Men raid on the pens.
The normally gruff and vicious Sabretooth took the young girl under his wing and raised her as his own. He showed her a surprising amount of love considering his background as a murderer and member of Apocalypse's Horsemen. Under his strict but fair tutelage. Blink would become a member of the X-Men.
Blink first earned her place on the team by teleporting the team to the moon to fight the Horseman named Death, the first time she had attempted a teleportation of that distance.
