The Project Fanboy Awards

Nominations: March 1st - October 31st.
Voting: November 1st through December 31st.

OFFICIAL RULES
Rules apply for nominations in the year 2010 and in succeeding years.

1. All nominees MUST have had something published in the year for which they are being nominated.
2. Previous works that are collected for reprinting are NOT eligible for inclusion.
3. Nominations for an artist, writer or publisher MUST be accompanied by what work that artist, writer or publisher is being nominated for. Failure to do so will result in the nominee being removed from the ballot.

4. "Rookie" is defined as the first year a title is published. If a title has been published in a year previous to the current year it is ineligible for this category.

Disclaimer: Project Fanboy reserves the right to withdraw any nominees who are deemed to be the result of obvious ballot box stuffing.

Project Fanboy is not at fault for a lack of inclusion of a creator, title, character, etc in its respective category. All nominations are made by the fans. Nominations are taken from March through October of every year. Nominations may be made at that time.

ABOUT THE AWARDS
The Project Fanboy Awards began as a monthly honor for deserving fansites. The Green Lantern Corps fan site was the first winner when it received the award for February, 2008.

In May of 2008 the Project Fanboy Award was restructured and re slated as an annual event and dubbed the Project Fanboy Awards(plural). While the monthly Project Fanboy Award for comic book fan sites remained unchanged for a time it was eventually retired, spotlighting our focus on the annual event. The annual awards now consist of twenty-two different annual categories. Each category is open to submit nominations which are nominated and voted on by fans spanning the globe via the internet.

Nominations in all categories are accepted each year until November 1st, at which point voting begins and lasts through the end of December, in the following categories.

AWARDS CEREMONY

Winners of the 2010 awards are scheduled to be presented with their awards Sunday, March 27th 2011 from 2:30 pm - 3:10 pm in Room 222A at the MegaCon comic book convention in Orlando, Florida. The 2010 Project Fanboy Awards are currently accepting nominations. Voting will begin in November.
