Collaborative Work
Penciller needed for Reasonably Priced Comics #1
Aug 15, 2010 - 4:11 AM - by RPComics

Name:	REASONABLY PRICED COMICS SUBMISSION FORM.pdf
Views:	41
Size:	143.0 KB
ID:	10594 Company: Reasonably Priced Comics
Project Name: Reasonably Priced Comics #1
Position: Writer, Penciller

Position Requirements:
Professional quality work of any genre (save sexually-based, or any form of hatred-based work or story), ability to meet deadlines.

Position Description:
Reasonably Priced Comics is currently holding open submissions for a 10-page black and white story for a new anthology series. The book currently has two stories from two different teams committed, and the available slot is for a third, completed story.

Your story will preferably be a stand-alone tale, though we will consider serials if it is the right story. All genres and artistic styles will be considered.

You will be responsible for assembling your team (i.e. lining up an artist if you are a writer, finding a scripter if you are an artist/plotter, etc), as RP Comics does not match up creators at this time.

Guaranteed Publication: Yes
Shared Profits: No

Additional Comments:
This is not a paid publication opportunity, however it is an excellent portfolio builder and an opportunity to have your work seen by a wider audience. This book will be published and distributed, and fans who may not have been exposed to your work otherwise will have a chance to read and enjoy your comics. It may also lead to further opportunities with RP Comics.

Each team working on the book will receive 15 comped copies to sell or keep at their discretion. Each team will also have the opportunity to buy as many copies as they wish at cost plus shipping to sell for profit.

Application Deadline: 9\15\2010

Contact Details:
Please email all submissions, along with the completed submission agreement attached, to ReasonablyPricedComics@yahoo.com.

Please make sure your submission includes a written synopsis of your story, script sample and a link to any completed artwork or art samples. Please do not send image files. For your protection and ours, submissions without the accompanying submission agreement form will not be reviewed.

Thank you very much for your interest and we look forward to hearing from you!
